At noon on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, Attorney Amanda Pirt Meyer will give an overview of Social Security disability law, designed for attorneys who may not practice regularly in this area. As of August 2020, there are more than 8 million people in the country that are  receiving benefits as disabled workers, and more than 150,00 in Wisconsin. Knowing the basics of the SSD program will afford you the opportunity to better serve your recipient and applicant clients. Please note that this presentation will be by Zoom in light of the pandemic. A link to the Zoom presentation will be emailed to attendees on Monday, September 21, 2020.
