The Shifting College Sports Legal Landscape: Amateurism, Antitrust Law, and NIL Rights

At 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26th,  by Zoom webinar, Professor Matt Mitten of Marquette University Law School will present a CLE on the latest legal changes to impact the NCAA. He will provide an overview of the NCAA’s historical amateur/education model of college sports, antitrust challenges to it, and state laws and new NCAA guidelines permitting college athletes to earn name, image, and likeness (“NIL”) rights income.
