Palmersheim will present his popular biennial business case law update, titled “Arbitrators Falling Asleep, Tradenames and Business Sales, And Other Business Law Cases That May Induce Drowsiness.” Attorney Palmersheim’s presentation will summarize business law cases decided by the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and the Wisconsin Supreme Court in 2020 and 2021. In addition to insights on cases and the courts, the presentation will be filled with plenty of dad jokes.

  • 2022 Worthy Causes Grant

    The Dane County Bar Association annually makes funds available for distribution to projects which have one of three purposes:

    a. Increasing the availability of legal services to low income individuals;

    b. Educating members of the public on their rights and responsibilities under the law; or

    c. Improving the legal resources available in Dane County to lawyers and the public.

    Nonprofit organizations and governmental agencies providing services in Dane County are eligible to apply for funding.
